Museums advocate tours Davenport venues

Quad City Times – Visiting two Davenport museums for the first time Sunday, the president of the American Association of Museums called the Figge Art Museum “one of the nicest museum spaces I’ve ever been to in the United States.”
Ford W. Bell also praised the Putnam Museum, calling it “amazing,” as he continued his statewide tour of the association’s accredited museums. He took tours of both facilities and visited with museum and community leaders afterward.
